Jack Fenwick joined The Evans Group as Director of Law Enforcement Programs in 2005. Prior to that, he enjoyed a successful eight year career as a manufacturer’s representative for several law enforcement equipment manufacturers and as a Regional Sales Manager for SureFire. Jack is a thirty year veteran of State of Florida, Department of Law Enforcement. His career began as a Special Agent conducting high level criminal investigations and progressed to management level positions. These included Deputy Director of Criminal Investigations, Director of Mutual Aid, and Director of Executive Services which included Governor’s Security, and Internal Affairs. He also served as Director of Investigations for the Governor’s Office of Chief Inspector General and as Inspector General of a major State Agency. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and the Senior Management Institute for Police. Jack remains active in the law enforcement community as a Reserve Deputy Sheriff.
Richard served twenty-four years with the Fulton County Georgia Police Department. He retired as Commander (Captain) of Special Operations (SWAT) and has over twenty years experience as a specialized instructor and supervisor in firearms and use of force. During his career, which started in patrol, he also served as a Detective, Precinct Lieutenant, Range Master, and Lieutenant of Investigations. Prior to being with Fulton County, Richard also served 6 years in the US Army where he had Airborne Training, served as a Military Policeman, and was a member of the US Army Pistol Team.
Rob is a thirty year veteran law enforcement officer, serving with two police departments in the same region (Bath PD and Copley PD) of Ohio. He was instrumental in establishing a multi-jurisdictional SWAT team in 1990 and has served on that team since its inception. His responsibilities have included entry, sniper and explosive entry team leader. Rob is also responsible for firearms training (both departmental and team), less lethal instruction and active shooter training.
Tim is a twelve year veteran law enforcement officer, serving with both the Virginia Beach Sheriff’s Department and the Chesapeake Police Department. He left the department as a field training officer and SWAT team member to pursue opportunities in the field of law enforcement and military training. Tim remains a state certified police officer as a member of the department’s auxiliary unit, as well as maintaining all teaching certifications. Since his departure from full time policing, he has provided instruction at Blackwater USA, SCG International Risk, Extreme Outfitters and Homeland Security Solutions.
Cormac is a native of Ireland that came to the U.S. via the United States Marine Corps where he was a Scout Sniper and a Regimental Sniper School Instructor. He then had a career in equipment sales with Buck Knives and SureFire supporting military and law enforcement sales. Cormac graduated from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Academy and is now a three year veteran of the Bell, California police department where he served as a patrolman. He is a certified martial arts instructor and an accomplished marksman.
Russ is a veteran of the U.S. Army where he was an Armor Platoon leader at Ft. Hood, TX and an MP. He also earned a BA in degree in Criminology. Russ then came to us with twenty-two years of experience in the shooting industry where he has won numerous awards as a sales representative. During his successful career, Russ has served in all aspects of the industry from sales rep, to national sales manager. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to interface with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies. Most recently, he was National Sales Manager of a specialty ammunition company specializing in sales to LE Agencies and DOD.
